Part 3 – That’s where he belongs

Still upset about Lyle, Jona turned to an elevator and quickly hammered the security code into the panel. This code was necessary to take the elevator to the lowest levles of the temple, where the prison cells were located. This was rather a protection against overly adventurous younglings, than a security system for stopping the subjects from escaping. Jona remembered just too well how she used to run around the temple with her friends Caileta and Ahm, even after bed time. The rodian however did not seem to know about that and glanced at the panel. Though she was perfectly aware that this code would not be of any use for him, since a different code was necessary to get the elevator to move up again, Jona still shielded the panel with her body. She doubted that anyone could ever escape the jedi temple. And even if someone could get out of the holding cell, he still would be stopped by the guards. She led the Rodian to the circular prison cell and activated the stasis field as soon as he stood on the pedestal. He didn’t even hesitate. Jona wondered for a moment, but then came to the conclusion, that this was most likely not the first time the Rodian was imprisoned. When she turned to leave the cell, she was suddenly unsettled by a strange feeling. Something in the force had just changed. She turned around again and notice the Rodian watching her with seemingly high interest. But she could sense that he didn’t really care for her at all, but was rather completely focused and determined. Somehow that was more strange than most things she had felt before. She decided not to worry about it any longer and left the prison cell. No one could ever escape from here, so why should anyone bother to try.

Finally, after eight months of waiting, here is the continuation of my story "Uncertain ways". There were several reasons for the long break. First of all there were a bunch of other projects I worked on e. g. the SHIPtember challenge. Secondly I was quite busy with school, since I am about to write my final exams in a week. Also building this was most difficult. It might seem to be a simple build, but it took me six (!) tries to finally get it right.

I hope you like this part ! And I promis that I will continue this story further and not take such a long break again. The next part is already in progress and I have the story planned out for the next 20 parts.
