Roma - Il teatro di Marcello - a photo on Flickriver

            Il teatro, iniziato da Cesare, fu completato da Augusto nel 13-11 a. C. che lo dedicò al nipote Marcello. Nel '500, sul doppio ordine di arcate sovrapposte, fu eretto il Palazzo Savelli-Orsini. Attulamente vi abitano ancora alcune fortunate famiglie.

The theater started by Caesar, was completed by Augustus in 13-11 a. C. who dedicated it to his nephew Marcellus. In '500, over the double row of overlapping arches, was erected the Palazzo Savelli-Orsini. There currently live a few more fortunate families
