bedraggled buzzard again - a photo on Flickriver

            when I went to try and see the owls it was pouring with rain but I was prepared to wait as someone once told me that in bad weather birds of prey are likely to take every chance to fly and dry off between downpours ...it was a long wait and sun was almost down but certainly worked for me as this buzzard landed on a post at the top of a bank not too far away probably to get some air round those soaking wet feathers ..if you look closely there are droplets of water on the wires
