Afternoon at Sinawava - a photo on Flickriver

            Named for the coyote spirit of the Paiute nation, the Temple of Sinawava is Zion National Park’s massive natural amphitheater and one of its most popular destinations. The Riverside Walk, a 2-mile roundtrip walk that parallels the Virgin River,takes you directly into the heart of the canyon.   The lighting on the red sandstone cliffs changes dramatically with time of day so you can see it over and over in different ways. The end of the paved Riverside Walk marks the beginning of The Narrows: Zion’s famous hike in the Virgin River.
