The Whale’s Leap on Board - a photo on Flickriver

This image is from Portland's 2014 Christmas Ships Parade that we viewed from the dock by the River Place Hotel. The whale is on a boat behind the paddlewheel steamer so it just looks like it is leaping on board.
The annual tradition of decorated Christmas Ships gathering in fleets to parade up and down the Willamette and Columbia Rivers is celebrating its 68th year in 2022. www.christmasships.org
