Two Schooners and a Red Sail - a photo on Flickriver

The 84 ft Schooner Martha was built in 1907 for the San Francisco Yacht Club. Originally gaff rigged, she is now staysail rigged. Alcyone is an 81' gaff-rigged topmast schooner that is seen here with most of her sails set: gaff-rigged mainsail and foresail, jib, flying jib, main topsail, fisherman’s skysail (dark), square-rigged fore course, and triangular raffee. I do not know the small boat with the gaff-rig sails but I love the color. The boats were sailing at Port Townsend's Wooden Boat Festival woodenboat.org/plan-your-visit
