            Avant l'ère du pétrole, au bon vieux temps,
On ne pratiquait pas le décalage de l'heure.
Afin d'économiser l'energie, au fil du temps,
On décida qu'à la fin octobre, à 3 heures, il serait 2 heures.
Nul besoin de remonter l'horloge afin de remonter le temps;
Arrêtez-la, juste le temps qu'elle se remette à l'heure.
Alors ne perdez plus de temps, c'est maintenant le moment,
De perdre quelques minutes pour gagner 1 heure.
Ainsi vous aurez cette nuit, plus de temps,
Pour faire ce que vous désirez pendant une heure.
Malgré cette longue nuit, n'oubliez pas pour autant,
De mettre tous vos autres appareils à l'heure.
Ainsi peut-être reviendrons-nous au bon vieux temps,
Mais ce n'est ni le moment ni l'heure.
