The Marriage Contract II - a photo on Flickriver

            OK, it's been done before. I get that. But it's also a compositional idea that appears simple and one I wanted to try for myself. SO three years ago, just before my wedding, I decided to give it a go

Two hours later I finally got the shots I envisaged, with the assistance of the kitchen bench, a black shirt, a torch, a tissue to muffle the torchlight, a ring, an old book by Balzac (the source of the title), a wireless remote,  tripod, a Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III and a Canon EF 85mm f1.2L II lens. This is the 2nd in the series.
