Konkani Writer Bonaventure D'Pietro - a photo on Flickriver

The Dalgado Konknni Akademi, Goa, kicked off its new bi-monthly programme series BOROVPIAK BHETT (Meet the Author) by featuring popular Koknni novelist-musician Bonaventure D'Pietro, from Anjuna, on January 27, 2012. The seasoned Konknni writer, who has nearly 14 hit novels to his credit besides several short stories, plays and articles to his credit, narrated what inspired him to write novels and the trail and tribulation travails that followed, during the interesting programme. Subsequently, D'Pietro also answered more pointed question from the members of the audience. Writer Daniel de Souza compered the event which was moderated by DKA president Premanand Lotlikar, with DKA Secretary Jose Salvador on the dais.
