"Written in Stone: Jesuit buildings in Goa and their artistic and architectural features", written by art historian Cristina Osswald, was released at History Hour of the Xavier Centre of Historical Research in Porvorim, Goa, India, on January 29, 2013. The timely book "offers an insightful look at the artistic features of the buildings created by this nearly five-centuries-old religious society in Goa. It focuses on their architecture, painting, sculpture, woodcarving and more". Author Christina, who has done post-doctoral research on the life of the Jesuits and Franciscans in Portual, India and Brazil (16-18century) and who teaches at te Universidade Nova de Lisboa, explained with a slideshow about her 367-book, published by Goa1556.
