The Musical Professor! - a photo on Flickriver

            Professor Christopher Ballantine is arguably South Africa's preeminent musicologist. The author of many books, and a leading authority both on classical music and South African music, he has been a driving force in promoting African music for many years. A great friend of mine, I was fortunate to have an opportunity to photograph him recently in Durban.
