Solandra maxima. El nombre le fue otorgado por el botánico sueco del siglo XVIII Daniel Carlsson Solander. También se le conoce como Planta trompeta, Trompetero gigante o Copa dorada, es originaria de México y se encuentra desde Estados Unidos a Centroamérica, Colombia,,Venezuela y Ecuador.
Posee sustancias neurotrópicas y se ha usado en el chamanismo.

Solandra maxima. The name was given by the 18th century Swedish botanist Daniel Carlsson Solander. It is also known as trumpet plant, giant trumpeter or golden cup, native to Mexico and found from the United States to Central America, Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador.
It has neurotropic substances and has been used in shamanism.
