The view south east from the tower of York Minster

            In the left foreground is the Cross Keys public house, the name derived from the cross keys badge of the Minster. Next door to the right is the Minster Stoneyard where stone for repairs to the Minster is stored and roughly cut to size before being finished by masons for building work. Behind runs Goodramgate, with some of York's best and oldest timber-framed buildings.
