Sony 2250 direct drive turntable - a photo on Flickriver

            I got this in all-original condition, even the Sony cloth for cleaning the records is there, for 20 euros, at a local 2nd hand shop.

When the seller said 'not sure how much I should ask, the belt will probably need replacing', I said to myself 'this is the rare chance when the buyer can actually fool the salesman'.

The thing has 'direct drive' written with big letters on two spots!!

This direct drive turntable is really top quality. A little cleaning and careful adjustment brought it back quickly to its former glory.
