Helmsley Castle remains of 16th century Mansion and West Tower

            The mostly intact 16th Century manor house and at the far end the ruins of the West Tower of Helmsley Castle in North Yorkshire, UK.  Shot on expired (20+ years past expiry date) Ilford FP4+ 35mm film using a Pentax K1000 SLR, with a Tamron 28-70mm f3.5-4.5  manual focus zoom lens. Film was developed in Ilfotec-DD-X developer, Ilfostop and Ilford Fixer following a 2-minute pre-soak in filtered water. Solutions were at 22°C and I agitated (rotary) the film for 10s every minute. The resulting negatives were scanned to .dng Raw files using a Plustek 8200Ai 35mm film scanner and then processed from Raw using Capture One Pro 23.
