2024 042-366 Road Closure Bird's Eye View

            A walk down to the road that was closed mid-December. The culvert repair has been complicared by various services (water and electricity) running through the same area. This has meant that the digging work under both sets of boards has had to be done by hand. The stream has been diverted into a channel under the righthand set of boards. This will allow the culvert to be replaced on the left where the huge hole opened up in the road with December's heavy rains. Ongiong heavy rainfall hasn't helped the process. It will be good when a trip to Pulborough is just the usual 2 miles, instead of a 6-7 mile detour through Storrington.
