            Since I am honored with an Explore status from Flickr :-) I decided tot make a short translation of the original Dutch text:  

Usually I share current trainphoto's, mostly in the summer months.
Because of the bad weather in western Europe I decided to share an archive photo of the Bavaria (Germany) trip I made in 2009.

When this highlight of the day (an old locomotive in an old livery) came in front of my lens I was very pleased.... but then Muphy's law also caught up.... my photocamera suddenly had a defect! 
Luckely the train had to stop for a closed signal at the Tüssling station, so I took the sprint of my life and run a half mile within a few minutes and took a photo with my backup camera.
Not a great photo, but a great loco and a memorable experience!

Even een totaal willekeurige foto geplaatst (anders wordt het zo stil!). De periode 2005 t/m 2009 had ik eigenlijk nauwelijks iets aan treinspotten gedaan. Dat ik in oktober 2009 een Beieren reisje had gemaakt is dan ook uitzonderlijk te noemen. Één van mijn doelen was "dieselparadijs" omgeving Mühldorf, met veel 217, 218 en 225 (ex 215) geweld :-) De hele ochtend had ik mijzelf bij het inrij-armsein van Tüssling gepost met wisselend succes, maar rond 13u kwam dan toch het hoogtepunt van de dag, toen de nog beige-blauwe 217 014-0 en verkeersrode soortgenoot met een ketelwagentrein in een perfect zonnetje verscheen! ...echter was Murphy er ook weer bij... mijn fototoestel weigerde dienst :-( 
Daar had 'ie zo nu en dan last van, maar zelden op zo'n ongelukkig moment. Toen ik zag dat de keteltrein in Tüssling Bahnhof afremde voor een gesloten armsein dan toch maar de sprint van mijn leven getrokken.. en gelukkig nog op tijd voor een herkansing met mijn reserve camera in een waterig zonnetje. Geen top foto, wel een top locomotief en een onvergetelijke herinnering....
