Painted Lady - a photo on Flickriver

Painted Lady

              On our way home last Sunday but still in West  Virginia, we stopped at the top of a mountain where there is a pull over/ overlook place and beside the guard rail were hundreds of these pink thistle flowers and Queen Anne's lace and some other wild flowers sprinkled in.   This Painted Lady was enjoying them to the fullest!    Today is Anita's Birthday.    And we couldn't figure out where to go or what to do because we've traveled so much in the last three years.   Sooooo.....  we decided that today would be a left / right sort of day and go from there.  :)
