Ruin of Dunlewey Church - a photo on Flickriver

            I took a long weekend trip to County Donegal in the Republic of Ireland. Its a beautiful place, with amazing coastlines and a rugged mountainous interior, with extremely friendly people.

Pictured is the ruin of Dunlewey Church of Ireland (The old church of Dunlewey) which sits at the foot of Mount Errigal (Background) the highest peak in Co. Donegal, measuring 751 meters.

Contrary to popular belief the  abandoned church was not burned out, but merely fell into ruin during the demise of the Dunlewey estate. 

County Donegal is beautiful, and I would highly recommend visiting if you travel to Ireland.
