45141 at Kettering

            On the last Friday of the 1987/1988 timetable Class 45 no. 45141 awaits departure from Kettering with 1P13 17.35 St. Pancras-Derby. 

45141 was new, as D82, in December 1960 and was withdrawn from service in August 1988. It was scrapped at MC Processors in Glasgow in July 1992.

The above image was produced by editing my original scan of the transparency for brightness and contrast. The original version, which will be deleted from Flickr shortly, is below for comparison.
