La Lesachtal o Lesacahtal è una valle austriaca accorpata fra il distretto di Hermagor in Carinzia e quello di Lienz nell’Osttirol, racchiusa dalla cresta confinaria della Alpi Carniche ed attraversata dal fiume Gail. 
 La posizione idilliaca della vallata regala estati soleggiate e inverni con abbondanti precipitazioni nevose. Le Alpi Carniche e le Dolomiti di Lienz, sono infatti i confini naturali della vallata che elargiscono un clima mite e piacevole nutrito dalla cangiante ricchezza dell’universo alpino.
A Strajach,borgo di casupole nei pressi di Lesachtal,c'è questa spettacolare Via Crucis che si inoltra nel bosco come per condurci alla meditazione ed al raccoglimento.
