La Pararge aegeria conosciuta anche come Egeria è una farfalla della famiglia delle Nymphalidae, sottofamiglia Satyrinae, di medie dimensioni , con apertura alare di 35 - 45 mm.
La Pararge aegeria ha la pagina superiore delle ali con colore di fondo bruno scuro e con numerosi disegni arancio scuro posti a scacchiera e con macchie fulve o bianche.

The Pararge aegeria also known as Egeria is a medium-sized butterfly of the Nymphalidae family, subfamily Satyrinae, with a wingspan of 35 - 45 mm.
The Pararge aegeria has the upper page of the wings with a dark brown background color and with numerous dark orange designs placed in a checkerboard pattern and with tawny or white spots.
