Ideato a inizio Anni '70 nei laboratori Xerox, è divenuto famoso grazie ai primi computer Apple.
Ideata da Douglas Engelbart, a questa periferica era stato affibbiato il nomigliolo di mouse, perché ad alcuni ricordava per forme e dimensioni proprio un topo. Nonostante il nome, quella periferica è stata la base del successo tecnologico dell'Apple Lisa prima e dell'Apple Macintosh poi: grazie al mouse è stato possibile "inventare" una nuova modalità di interazione tra uomo e macchina, favorendo lo sviluppo di interfacce utente sempre più interattive e dinamiche.
Ancora oggi, il mouse è tra le periferiche di maggior successo: dai modelli ergonomici ai mouse gaming, il mercato offre modelli per ogni esigenza e per ogni tasca. Merito di un'evoluzione lunga 40 anni che non si è mai arrestata.

BRIGHT MOUSE UNDER CHARGE

Created in the early 1970s in the Xerox laboratories, it became famous thanks to the first Apple computers.
Designed by Douglas Engelbart, this device was given the nickname mouse, because to some it reminded people of a mouse in terms of shape and size. Despite the name, that peripheral was the basis of the technological success of the Apple Lisa first and then the Apple Macintosh: thanks to the mouse it was possible to "invent" a new mode of interaction between man and machine, encouraging the development of user interfaces increasingly interactive and dynamic.
Even today, the mouse is among the most successful peripherals: from ergonomic models to gaming mice, the market offers models for every need and every pocket. Thanks to a 40-year evolution that has never stopped.
