1919 TESSAR on 5DmkII - front - a photo on Flickriver

1919 TESSAR on 5DmkII - front

Shot with a TESSAR lens c.1919. It is the Tessar first design, 7,5 cm and f/6.3, it has a fixed aperture.
I found it in "El Rastro" (a flea market of Madrid, Spain). The Tessar was inside a petzval barrel who has the name Dubroni, Paris. It belongs to a camera manufactured by the same Dubroni, that has the ability to develop the plate in side it. Quite incredible for 1874. Here is a link:

I calculated the position of the lens to allow infinity in an EOS body, and with a M42 EOS adapter solder to the Dubroni barrel. Thanks to my friend Jose who did a fabulous work.
It is a very soft contrast lens it flares very easily, and it doesn´t work in every situations, but in certain moods it can do wonders.
