Whiteside Co. Court House(former Woolworth's location)

            this location was empty for 10+ years(Woolworth's left in 1972) before becoming the new courthouse.Notice the changes in building's windows as well as the first downtown mural in Sterling(I believe there are 17 now).Upper floors of building are mostly empty-I found side entrance padlocked and strewn with garbage.Basement was former location of WSDR radio,which also moved northeast of town.Building itself is called the Lawerence Building,named after the founders of Lawerence Bros. manufacturing,
