The Death of the Odeon,RIP 11-25-2012.Fire ripped thru the 140 year-old bldg.last Sunday night,and there was the heavy smell of smoke and some haziness still, when my wife and I visited yesterday afternoon.I attended a seed corn sales meeting here,probably 10 years ago,and it was still a grand old place,albeit a little rough around the edges.The right-hand side of the bldg. contained an eight lane bowling alley.Read more about the Odeon here:
