66526. Thoresby Colliery Junction. - a photo on Flickriver

Freightliner liveried Class 66 No 66526 brings up the rear of Network Rail's 'High Output Track Renewal' train as it passes the remains of Thoresby Colliery Junction en route to the test track at High Marnham near Tuxford. 66588 was on the front.

12.25 Doncaster Belmont Down Yard - High Marnham Powergen.

The line runs straight through here with no access to the sidings any longer. The old hut, semaphores and lamps still remain (just!), but you need some imagination to remember this location as a busy holding area for coal traffic.
