2999. A 'Saintly' attraction. - a photo on Flickriver

With a row of spectators up against the fence and plenty of window hangers, GWR '2900' (Saint) Class 4-6-0 No 2999 'Lady of Legend' gets away from Highley with a Kidderminster bound passenger service.

Using 4942 'Maindy Hall' as a donor loco, 2999 was built at Didcot by the Great Western Society - they certainly did a fabulous job.
