El president de la Generalitat, Artur Mas, ha decidit fer el pas al costat per facilitar un acord de Junts pel Sí i la CUP que permeti d’avançar en el procés cap a la independència. 
El pròxim president de la Generalitat serà el batlle de Girona i president de l’AMI, Carles Puigdemont. 

Amb la decisió política d'aquest dissabte, Mas passa a la història. I per la seva generositat, tan exòtica en la política, avui cal dir gràcies president.  (Lluís Bou)

The President of the Generalitat, Artur Mas, has decided to step aside to facilitate the agreement by Together Yes CUP and allowing progress in the process towards independence.
The next President of the Government will be the mayor of Girona and President of AMI, Carles Puigdemont.
With this policy decision on Mas becomes history. And his generosity, so exotic in politics today saying thank President.
