Sant Miquel del Mont. - a photo on Flickriver

Sant Miquel del Mont és una església del municipi de la Vall de Bianya, a la comarca catalana de la Garrotxa (CAT). Al cim de la muntanya homònima, amb una cota de 792,6 metres, s'hi troba l'església romànica de Sant Miquel del Mont.
L'església fou consagrada l'any 958 pel bisbe de Girona Arnulf. La primitiva edificació fou substituïda per l'actual fàbrica. En data indeterminada va perdre la categoria de parròquia i es convertí en sufragània de Santa Margarida de Bianya.[1]

A mitjan segle xvi hi ha una referència documental de l'enderroc del campanar vell. El temple fou restaurat el 1933

Saint Michael of the Mountain.

Sant Miquel del Mont is a church in the municipality of Vall de Bianya, in the Catalan region of Garrotxa (CAT). At the top of the homonymous mountain, with an elevation of 792.6 meters, is the Romanesque church of Sant Miquel del Mont.
The church was consecrated in 958 by the bishop of Girona Arnulf. The original building was replaced by the current factory. At an undetermined date it lost the category of parish and became a suffragan of Santa Margarida de Bianya.[1]

In the mid-16th century there is a documentary reference to the demolition of the old bell tower. The temple was restored in 1933
