Detexomat factory demolition 1998 or 1999

            King Kong style. 

Cressex Industrial Estate, High Wycombe. This factory made machinery to make hosiery. 

This was previously the office building of the CompAir Construction & Mining Ltd., where I worked on the shop floor between 1975 and 1984.

Picture taken from next door at Chubb Fire Engineering where I worked at the time this picture was taken. 

You didn't have to go far to get a job in those days. PS I grew up in my parents house which was just round the corner five minutes away.
