[OT] Beyond the history - III - a photo on Flickriver

            Berlin and the its paper Castle.
The historical Prussian castle was heavily damaged during the II world war; for political reasons, in spite of the large remains, it was completely destroyed and removed during the GDR time.
In the ’90 rumors about a millionaire rebuilding of the castle started. In that period a paper reconstruction was installed on the original place. These Dia have been taken in ’94 from Unter den Linden towards the former Marx Engels Brücke, now Schlossbrücke. The result is amazing.
The paper reconstruction, a monument to the German-Prussian “revanchisme”, has been removed and now the place is empty.
