Bluebell storage sidings at Horsted Keynes

            A start has been made in removing some of the stock that has been long stored at Horsted Keynes on the Bluebell Railay. On 25th March 2018 the sidings were particularly crowded. Eight locomotives are on view but at least two others were out of sight or under tarpaulins. The decision to sell off or otherwise dispose of stock that was unlikely to be restored, even in the long term, may be controversial but realistically it has to be said that leaving this collection rotting away in the open air like this did not make sense. Some of the locos are, however, now in the Steam Works museum.
