Roman Centurion Driving a Pedicab! - a photo on Flickriver

            Here's one of the handful of pictures I took in Manhattan last month.  This one is of a pedicab driver dressed as - get this - a Roman centurion!  I don't know why; Halloween was still about three months away!  

I was on my own bicycle (NOT dressed in ancient garb!) when I saw him. I tried biking ahead of him to get my camera ready, but I kept fumbling with my backpack to get the camera out and he kept going by me.  I finally overtook him and snapped this picture just as he was exiting on to Central Park South and Seventh Avenue.
