Fest For Beatles Fans, 2016: Peter Asher With Chad and Jeremy

            Char Stuart (far left) and Jeremy Clyde joined Peter Asher for a discussion about their music in the 1960s.  (The part about the seventies and beyond was presented the next day, though I was unable to attend.)     

Chad and Jeremy showed clips of their appearances on American television, such as "The Dick Van Dyke Show" (they did not play themselves; rather, they played a fictional pop duo) and "The Patty Duke Show."  Yes, they expressed regret for Patty Duke's death, which had happened about a month earlier.   Her character Patty loved Chad and Jeremy.  (Cathy preferred classical music, I believe.) 

Chad and Jeremy had a surprise hit on the Billboard country charts with "Yesterday's Gone," though "A Summer Song" was their biggest American hit.   They performed both songs.
