L'Ain à Pont de Poitte, dans le Jura

            Juste avant d'être engloutie par le barrage de Vouglans, la rivière d'Ain se permet toutes les fantaisies karstiques. En pleine agglomération, c'est un festival de marmites que l'on peut découvrir. Plus en aval, avec le Saut de la Saisse, c'est comme un baroud d'honneur  lancé par le cours d'eau, avant de s'assagir dans les profondeurs de la retenue. 

       Just before being engulfed by the dam of Vouglans, the river of Ain allows all karst fancies. In full agglomeration, it is a festival of cooking pots which one can discover. Further downstream, with the Saute de la Saisse, it's like a baroud d'honneur launched by the stream, before settling in the depths of the reservoir.
