High Street and Moffat House Hotel old postcard, mid 1970s

It's been far too long since I've uploaded any of my postcards, and the pile is still growing. Moffat is one I seem to have been drawn to, the photograohers can't easily avoid that car park between the two roads....

Looks like they couldn't resist a bit of colour enhancement, but I'd say the AA Marina van is probably not too far off. Inevitably we have a couple of Cortinas (Mk1 and Mk3) but the really interesting one to me is the silver Colt Lancer the other side of statue. it's an early 1974-76 model with the upright rear lights, and I reckon it would have been pretty new at the time of this photo.

Card sent to an address in Hunstanton, Norfolk. Postmark unlcear but the 16p first class stamp suggests it was 1983. Published by ETW Dennis & Sons Ltd, ref. M.0702.
