            Mitología de Escocia

En el folclore escocés, el Ghillie Dhu es un hada o faerie, un espíritu guardián de los árboles.

Es pequeñito, viste con mantos de hojas y musgo y es amable con los niños, aunque muy tímido. Según la tradición, vive en los bosques de abedules cerca de Gairloch, en el noroeste de las Highlands.
