Oakland 4-6-09 21

            Abandoned street trackage, Louise Street at 32nd, looking south onto Poplar, Oakland CA. Part of a 1.7 mile remnant of the old Key System A and B routes (and later Oakland Terminal) running N-S on Union, Poplar and Louise streets. You can see films of the Key System Bridge Units running here on the Pentrex video "California Electric Trilogy". 

When I took these photos in 2009 it looked like it had been out of service for some years already. The tracks are still there today.
