STAGECOACH GLASGOW 100 M428RRN - a photo on Flickriver

            This Volvo B10M-55/ Alexander PS Type DP48F was new in November 1994. It had originally been destined for Ribble but was diverted to Stagecoach Glasgow for use on a new service  from Castlemilk to Auchinairn. The services had barely began when a deal was thrashed out allowing Stagecoach to buy 20% of Strathclyde Buses shares. The services were immediately withdrawn (SBL running the duties) and the buses were put into the Kelvin Central fleet. Almost immediately some received red front ends and many were sent for repainting into KCB Network livery. This shot was taken in December 1994 on a miserable foggy day, I was never totally happy with it but never got a chance to do any better!
