LOTR:LCG Steward of Gondor Thematic Alt Card - Protector of Gondor, by Ted Nasmith

            We take this series full circle with this classic illustration of the Argonath by Ted Nasmith.

Protector of Gondor is a card/title I created for those thematic players that want the Steward of Gondor powers on their Gondor Hero, without the actual Steward title.

It can also be used for any other Hero in a broader sense as an "honorary" title. Examples would be Aragorn in his youth when he went by the alias Thorondil in service of Steward Ecthelion (Denethor's father)

Gandalf did as much as anyone (although generally underappreciated) to protect Gondor over his centuries of service against the Dark Shadow. The Fellowship of the Ring characters also played a pivotal role in protecting that realm.

Any Rohan Hero could be argued to be a protector, due to their pact with Gondor. And so forth.
