End of the road for Little and Large

            I'm not sure if this dog was a puppy or not? But to me, there seems something very odd about fully grown dogs that are smaller than household cats. Regardless, walking such a small canine must be difficult for the owner and totally bewildering for the animal, especially in a world were just about everything towers above them. In addition to this, the girl and her little companion were walking straight towards a dead-end, as the footpath ahead had been closed?

Intrigued, I took this snatched shot, but then it occurred to me that what might be a short and sedately walk for the owner, must be a fair old trek for the little dog. But why walk it around Hills Road in Cambridge, when the City is full of quiet leafy side roads and parks? This is no place for any animal, let alone one this tiny. It’s an incredibly noisy and busy road at the best of times, a nightmare to cross, and made even more dangerous by the current roadworks. I honestly felt quite sorry for the animal.
