Nearly full-grown cygnet stretching itself after rest

            After years of photography, I decided to clean up my laptop by deleting bad old pictures. And thus I saw again some of my old pictures taken by my Nikon D70 while I lived in London. A camera I liked with its 6MP pictures, in the early days of digital an impressive number, but today that seems small when I check the pictures on my laptop at magnification 1:1. 
I first used the kit lens AF-S Nikkor 18-70mm 1:3,5-4,5G ED that resulted in sharp pictures as the photos of the small cygnets show. 
Later and to have a more powerful zoom, I bought the Tamron AF70-300mm F/4-5.6 LD Macro 1:2 that also resulted in good pictures as the pictures of the nearly adult cygnets demonstrate. Yes, both camera's were without VR.

After a break of a few years whereby I used my smartphone to picture my surroundings, I decided to buy a Nikon D5300 with an AF-S Nikkor 18-300mm 1:3,5-6,3G ED VR lens, not my favourite lens as pictures are often too soft, and the much better AF-S Nikkor 200-500mm 1:5,6E ED VR, a lens for full frame camera's that reaches 300-750mm on my camera. Lately I also bought the Nikon Z50 that I want to,use more for videos.
