DBC 185 151-8 bij Gandersum op 7-6-2023

            Op de vrije woensdag 7 juni 2023 werd weer even gekeken naar de weersvoorspellingen en de tuin verruild voor het spoor. De voorspellingen lieten niet een gunstig beeld zien voor Twente en net over de grens en verderop leek het ook niet echt fraai. Voor de regio Emden/Leer was echter wel goed weer voorspeld. Daarom werd besloten om voor het eerst sinds langs tijd weer eens de vertrouwde stekken en enkele nieuwe te proberen. De hoop was om naast de gebruikelijke cargo op de Emslandstrecke ook weer eens wat privaten te pakken die vaak via Oldenburg rijden.

De dag werd begonnen in Leer waar eerst de voorspellingen niet helemaal leken te kloppen. Gelukkig kwam het zonnetje toch door rond negenen en konden 's ochtends vijfgoederentreinen vanuit Emden worden gespot. Er kwamen die ochtend ook veel goederentreinen van de andere kant richting Emden. Dat belooft vaak voor de middag niet veel goeds. In Gandersum werd toch het geluk beproeft, maar daar reden maar enkele goederentreinen richting Emden.

Hier zien we de DBC 185 151-8 met een autotrein naar Emden bij Gandersum op 7-6-2023. Van achteren kwam nog een kort goederentreintje die aan het einde van de trein nog net zichtbaar is.
