ÖBB 1144 268-0 bij Oldersum op 26-2-2019

            Op de prachtige, warme en zomerse winterdag 26 februari 2019 werd een bezoekje gebracht aan de Emslandstrecke. Aangezien er een stremming was tussen Meppen en Lingen in verband met werkzaamheden, werd gekozen voor het noordelijke deel tussen Leer en Emden. Er kwamen weer een aantal interessante treinen langs.

De serie 1144 van de ÖBB stond al een hele tijd op mijn bucket list. Meestal reed de autotrein met deze fraaie locs aan het einde van de ochtend naar Emden en halverwege de middag weer terug vanuit Emden. Beide keren fout qua zon. Ik was dan ook blij dat de gave loc een autotrein vanuit Emden mocht trekken aan het einde van de ochtend. Eindelijk eens een fraai exemplaar qua zon in de goede richting. 

Hier zien we de ÖBB 1144 268-0 met een autotrein in de buurt van Oldersum een blije fotograaf passeren.
