Ford Model T - a photo on Flickriver

            Apparently a 1920 model, it made an appearance at the Cars & Coffee event at a local church in Queen Creek, Arizona.

The purple tint within the headlight glass is probably the result of manganese added to he glass that has been exposed to Ultraviolet light. UV light occurs naturally in sunlight. Manganese is added to glass ironically as an agent to make it colorless lest the glass might appear greenish or yellow. It is effective in doing so but UV lighting eventually causes the purplish tint.

The license plates have been altered for privacy.
