Under Restoration: London Transport - RM2097 ALM97B - AEC/PRV Routemaster R2RH - Park Royal

            New to LT in 12/1964, this long time member of the rally scene is seen here on display at the Llangollen Railway Classic Transport Weekend, Glyndyfrdwy Station, Wales, on 03/07/2022. This weekend was returning after a three year hiatus. Alongside the Routemaster, and also representing the London scene of the past, is preserved London Transport - BL88, OJD93R, an ECW bodied Bristol LH6L. New to LT(BL88), in 04/1977, registered OJD88R, this LH had a short working life in London, from 04/1977 to 09/1981, the class not being popular at all. This bus received its current registration while working for OK Motor Services, Bishop Auckland, to match their fleet numbering system! © Peter Steel 2022.
