Preserved Strathclyde's Buses - LA1204 XUS575S - Leyland Atlantean AN68A/1R - Alexander AL

            This Panoramic windowed Atlantean was new to Greater Glasgow PTE(LA1204), in 10/1977. GGPTE later became Strathclyde PTE with buses later carrying this livery with the Strathclyde's Buses fleetname. After a lengthy restoration up to 2022, this Atlantean is seen here at Grand Prix Coaches, Brough, when attending the Cumbria Easter Rally, on 08/04/2023. It was taking part in the popular heritage services at this event. This excellent weekend is always popular with the Scottish contingent. © Peter Steel 2023.
