Preserved Crosville - KG147 LFM728 - Bristol L5G - ECW

            New to Crosville Motor Services, in 07/1950, this smart L5G is seen here on A554 Chester Street Gyratory, Birkenhead, when in operation during The Wirral Transport Show, formerly The Wirral Bus & Tram Show, on 01/10/2023. It had just departed from the Woodside Ferry Terminal. This L5G was re-numbered SLG147 in 05/1958. After withdrawal in 1969, it was used by the Cheshire Constabulary as a mobile road safety display unit. © Peter Steel 2023.
