Ricky and the dog

            This is my friend Ricky, we were roommates when I was studying my Master's Thesis at the University of Puerto Rico in Mayaguez back in the middle 1990's.  I think I took this photo around 2001.  In the photo he is with an elderly dog he took care of.  The dog was friendly but sometimes incontinent and a bit jealous of strangers.  We used to live in the Darlinton Building.   I still recall how I would sit in the floor of the apartment and look at sunset and the Hale-Bopp comet through the large plate window on the west side.   Since the apartment was close to the campus we often had friends visiting.  I miss those days, now it is all work, work, work.
